Interim Inspection - What To Expect

During the course of your tenancy, we will regularly visit to check the condition of the property (a minimum of 2 visits annually).

When visitng, we will be looking for the cleaning to be to a satisfactory standard including the following:-

CLEANING:
Cleaning of skirting boards, light fittings/shades, electric sockets and light switches.

FRONT/BACK AND INTERNAL DOORS:

  • All doors to be cleaned inside and outside.

KITCHEN

  • Taps, sink and draining board to be cleaned
  • All cupboards and drawers should be cleaned
  • Fridge/freezer cleaned
  • Cooker cleaned, including all oven shelves, rings, hob and extractor hood
  • Washing machine to be cleaned
  • Wall tiles and worktops to be cleaned and not left ‘sticky’
  • Floors to be swept and cleaned
  • Windowsills to be dusted and cleaned
  • Windows to be cleaned inside and out

BATHROOM:

  • Bath, toilet, basin, plug holes to be thoroughly cleaned.
  • Bathroom cabinet to be cleaned
  • All wall/floor tiles cleaned
  • All grout to be cleaned around tiles, bath and sink
  • Windowsills to be dusted and cleaned
  • Windows to be cleaned inside and out

LOUNGE/BEDROOMS:

  • All carpets to be hoovered
  • Walls to be wiped down
  • Windowsills to be cleaned and dusted
  • Windows cleaned inside and out

GARDEN (if applicable):

  • Lawns mowed evenly, borders to be strimmed and weeded, patios/driveway to be swept and clear of weeds.

GARAGE (if applicable):

  • Miscellaneous items to be removed and disposed of and floor to be swept and left tidy.

 

Please remember that it is a term of your tenancy that the property is maintained in a clean and tidy manner. When visiting we may take photos for both our and the landlords reference.
