It is always recommended to look for agents who are members of professional trade bodies to ensure you get the best service. We choose to be members and regulated by Propertymark (NAEA) and the Property Ombudsman. As members we work to their codes of practice and maintain high standards for operating.
So you are aware, in order for an agent to hold a membership, there are a number of requirements we need to meet:
Professionalism and Training – We maintain professional standards by ensuring that staff have a minimum level of on-going training to keep up to date with their property knowledge and skills.
Redress Schemes– We are part of a redress scheme. If you have a complaint about our services and you are unable to resolve it with us directly, you can refer your complaint to the redress scheme and they will adjudicate in order to resolve the dispute.
Reputation – We have to uphold NAEA Propertymarks reputation and take a professional approach to our work.
Compliant – Being registered with HMRC to ensure we comply with all the obligations under the money laundering regulations and having Client Money Protection as we handle client money.
